Biography

Tony Wilbert has more than 17 years of experience in journalism, public relations and corporate
communications.

He currently serves as president of Wilbert News Strategies.

Until May 2009, he served as senior vice president of the Real Estate, Sustainability & Business
Influencers practice in Edelman’s Atlanta office. He also is co-chairman of Edelman’s U.S. Real Estate Practice, which was launched in April 2008.

Tony has acquired extensive knowledge of Atlanta’s corporate world and a keen understanding of
corporate communications. He also has developed an expertise of the country’s commercial real
estate industry and served as editor of National Real Estate Investor.

Tony entered the public relations field after a 13-year career in journalism, culminating on the
Business desk of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, where he covered commercial real estate,
Home Depot and Georgia-Pacific. During his time as a journalist, Tony wrote more than 3,200
stories about commercial real estate. He formed deep relationships in
the real estate industry and wrote a weekly commercial real estate column for eight years.

In 2000, Tony created a Web site specifically for commercial real estate news, and then one
for Home Depot stories. He also created an e-mail news blast for the commercial real estate
industry that was delivered to 2,500 people several times a week.

Tony recently joined the Georgia chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, and he is a member of the board of the Brookwood Hills Community Club.

Tony holds a Bachelor of Arts (Communications) from the University of Delaware and serves as the Atlanta alumni coordinator for the university. He conducted his graduate studies at the College of
Journalism at the University of Maryland. He and his family live in Atlanta.
