ATLANTA (Aug. 26, 2013) - Earlier this month, PulteGroup CEO Richard Dugas joined Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed and Ga. Gov. Nathan Deal in Buckhead to officially announce Pulte's corporate headquarters relocation to the city of Atlanta. (And yes, that's the city - not a close-in suburb that uses and Atlanta ZIP code.)
The mood was festive as Dugas listed the many reason Pulte decided to leave metro Detroit and move to Atlanta. Specifically, PulteGroup committed to a 15-year lease of 101,000 square feet at Capital City Plaza on Peachtree Road. And the agreement has no early termination clause, which is great news for the city and landlord.

In addition to the political dignitaries and Invest Atlanta executives and board members, the event attracted several reporters from newspapers, broadcast TV and radio. Julie Bryant Fisher of the Metro Atlanta Chamber realized that several current and former Atlanta Business Chronicle reporters, editors and even a photographer were at the event. So, she gathered the group for a shot of nostaglia. (Maria Saporta managed to slip away without joining the group photo.)
The photo includes several reporters, who combined, have more than 35 years of real estate coverage in metro Atlanta. Theerfore, this photographer is quite rare.
