ATLANTA (Aug. 6, 2014) - A lot of commercial real estate pros will be as upset as I am about GreenCoat Auto Concierge shutting down its valet service at the world's busiest airport. Looks like Cobb County business mastermind Chip Patterson's idea to provide valet parking at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport was so good that airport officials are copying it.
And, as a result, Patterson - whose AmeriPark manages lots for several of Atlanta's best-know commercial landlords - informed loyal customers today that GreenCoat will suspend and only honor reservations through Friday.
The reason - the airport itself will start a valet service "in the near future." Let's hope airport officials are smart enough to outsource the operation to Patterson's company - or at least put it out for a legitimate bidding process.
Here's the scoop from Chip, a one-tine client of The Wilbert Group.

GreenCoat Auto Concierge to Suspend Service
A Thank You To Our Guests
Dear GreenCoat Guest,
It is with regret we must inform you that GreenCoat Auto Concierge will be suspending all service at ATL Airport. We can’t begin to fully express our deep gratitude for your business and support. Serving you has been a pleasure. We will cease accepting all new reservations on Friday, August 8, 2014. For any reservations that have already been scheduled for after August 8th or any vehicles still with GreenCoat on that date, your service will continue as normal. GreenCoat’s commitment to providing you the best service and support will remain our top priority for the duration of our operations. While GreenCoat Auto Concierge had been the only curbside valet service offered at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, airport officials have now elected to implement their own valet service. ATL Airport’s valet service should be available in the near future. Please contact us with any questions or comments. Thank you again for your loyalty and support through this past year. Sincerely, Chip Patterson AmeriPark
